The best answer to your question of the grace notes and the reference to Mozart, Handel, and Bach lies with a string player. They play that stuff all the time.
From a musical standpoint, however, grace notes are played differently in different time periods. The one mentioned using Mozart, Handel, or Bach has the grace notes being placed squarely on the beat, thus if you have 2 grace notes and a quarter note, the figure is played as 2 sixteens followed by an eighth note and so on... If trills are involved, the trill always starts on the note above.
Sorry to confuse you, but if you have a private teacher, he/she should be able to give you all the correct information. If you don't have a private teacher, my best advice is to get one. It'll save you a lot of time and effort.
