Far be it from me to correct a Rick Denney post (I always enjoy the good info contained in them) but, the Conn 34J at Taylor is the regular valve version of the 24J 4 valve - 4 top action upright valves, but not short action. Conn's re-using of model #'s can be confusing (and at my age the senior moments are bad enough, without more confusion)
