I am really NOT saying this to run us down as a group, but isn't it interesting how "profound" we consider parts such as Prok. Symph. tuba parts to be, when string bass players play great "profound" stuff like that wall-to-wall every day and are quite accustomed to it?
...and I guarantee you that when other musicians think of Prok. #5 (if indeed they ever do), that "MAN, that has a GREAT tuba part!" does NOT enter their minds.
