Hi Folks -
I've had the opportunity to play-test and finish tweaking the latest Matt Walters creation. (This is the one that was at this past Army Conference - BTW)
It's a 5/4 CC tuba - 4 pistons and 5th rotory. It has a 19" Buescher bell and the large branches are from a Nirschl 5/4 BBb tuba. It's raw brass.
This should be considered a hand-made instrument as Matt re-does EVERYTHING. It's a fantastic playing and beautiful looking instrument.
