Actually, you're right, so here goes:

The few 6/4 Hirsbrunners that I've played seemed sterile, resonance-wise, and were not intonation "walks-in-the-park".

I haven't played a Nirschl. I note that Carl Kleinstuber is quoted on this bbs (archives) as saying, "It stinks" referring to the intonation of the Nirschl 6/4.

so, which one to buy...???

(' kinda why I was suggesting holding on the the $$,$$$ and thinking for just a bit longer. My Dad was president of the Sears Credit Union in Memphis [' size of a reasonably-sized community bank] back in the '70's, and talked a LOT of people who were applying for loans into stopping and thinking. I guess I inherited that annoying trait.)
