It's definately red rot, and not a 'blush'. Strangely, it's on the tuning slide and 5th slide.
I guess what I'm asking is with CLR, regular cleaning, brushing teeth, no soft drinks etc, will this get worse, or will the progress be arrested?

(CLR doesn't harm lacquer, does it?)
