If you do either of these, unless you are VERY lucky, you will regret it for at least 3-4 years down the road. As will your parents, because a horn bought from most local music "stores" or online won't last that long or you will outgrow it. In the long run, if you are committed, shelling out the extra $$ fro a trip and a better horn will save you maoney in 3 years.
I'm speaking from experience. 'Cause i'm at that 3 year mark.
