This may sound wrong, and some people may disagree, but if you're playing 6-8 hours a day, you're probably doing more harm than good. There really isn't any need to practice that much, because at some point, you will begin to damage your lip muscles. Unless you really take lots of breaks and never play for more than two hours straight, you'll never get the results you want. My motto as far as practicing goes is quality over quantity. I'd rather practice for 3 strong, solid hours in a day than play for 8 mediocre ones. That way, I can play every day and notice my improvements, and won't worry about the damage I could be causing myself. Hope this helps.
