For those of you who use Blue Juice on your piston valves, what lubricant do you put on the tuning slides?
A while ago someone on this list suggested lubricating tuning slides with Radio Shack Lube Gel. I tried that, and it really made the slides move freely. But for months aftewards disgusting-looking whitish blobs of grease showed up in the bottoms of the piston cylinders and in the tuning slides. So I guess Lube Gel is not the lubricant to use in conjunction with Blue Juice. Since then, I've just been applying Blue Juice to the tuning slides, but it does not seem particularly effective.
What do you use with Blue Juice, and what results have you had?
