I just received a batch of the Canadian Brass Mouthpieces made by Kelly. These are only made clear - no colors. For tuba they are come on a Bach 18, Bach 25 and Helleberg size. Small shank trombone is a Bach 6 1/2 AL and 12 C. Large bore trombone is a Bach 5G.
Everyday use? Are you nuts? To me they have two uses, analyzing an embouchure (with the clear one) and for use outdoors. Last weekend at Ft Myer it was cold and with Arlington Cemetary there, a lot of service ceremonial bands play there. The Lexar MP are the ones you want to use on a day like this. I can imagine what would happen if someone used a colored version - sorry, a bright pink mp would not make it in a military band!
