If you are wanting to keep the case and restore it, you might want to consider upholstering it yourself. I have watched enough DIY, TLC, Trading Spaces, The Furniture Guys (I saw Joe L'Erario at the Philadelphia airport), etc to feel comfortable doing it myself. You might not feel as confident doing it yourself. If you have the time and confidence, it would be a fun project. I would highly recommend a very durable yet scratch resistant fabric for the inside.
