Hello all
It is about that time where I should start making the transition from being a student to heading out in the real world. I am currently at the Royal Northern College of Music getting a postgrad in euphonium. I am not particularly fond of the whole band directing thing, but really enjoy one on one teaching. I have looked up on the archives about this subject and found good ideas but they are a little old. Is there anyone out there who could give some good current advice on how to get into the private teaching field, in Texas, D/FW area. Is it a realistic view to make some decent bling bling by just doing private teaching and maybe some freelance solo engagements on top of that. Any advice or help would be awsome.
