I have an old 3-valve Embassy BBb tuba which I'm thinking of fixing up through a local repair shop. It has a great sound for the size and age. The horn has the old silver-looking finish and the shop said it would be great looking if it were sand blasted to get the classic look it probably had originally. Anyone know about this procedure and any problems it might create for the horn (not to mention my pocketbook...? Thanks, Phil
