Not crazy. I had the same problem a number of years ago with my Cerveny Piggy. The problem was that I was resting the horn on the inside of my legs to get the leadpipe to the right height. This was causing pressure on the sciatic(sp?) nerve which was, in turn, leading to a very painful back. I am also tall like yourself so I solved the problem by using something else (DEG Stand or covered wood block) to rest the horn on. The height requirement varies with the chair you use so get something you can adjust. If it's wrong, you get a stiff neck and bad tone for your troubles. Good luck with finding a solution.
