I would add just one more mouthpiece to the list for your consideration: a PT-88. It really darkened the sound on my 186, and it turned out to be good for all around playing as well.
But once again, this is a case where play testing is important. Try to get several different mouthpieces shipped to you. Try them all on your horn in places where you normally play. And ask your friend to help by listening to the sound you get. (You can't do this alone. And you have to be the one playing because the mouthpiece has to match YOU.) The one you like is the one you keep.
