I had a Rudy 3/4 for many years (wish I still had it). It did everything I wanted, and BTW, when I bought it, it was the only 5v 3/4 I could find. I agree that it is more 4/4 than 3/4, but I would still recommend it. I haven't searched lately for a 5v 3/4, but I'd bet the Rudy is one of the few, if not the only on the list. A little custom work on the other horns you mentioned would go a long way and might be affordable, esp. since the prices are so attractive to begin with. Just a thought.
