The used one that I'm looking at is $6,600 for a 12-18 month old Canadian Brass version (but that doesn't make a difference), a hard case (worth $500) and a gig bag (worth $400). The new G50 I was looking had a price of 7,000 plus 400 for a hard case. I haven't seen it yet, though (my private teacher recommended the store and the owner will be getting that tuba in stock and will ship it to me once he gets it and makes sure it's in good condition). Anyway, thanks a lot for the info! And do you think it's worth another $1000 to buy a new one?
