When you say "B and C", you do mean B natural and C natural, right? I don't seem to have problems there, but I almost always play Bb and F on the 4th valve. 1+3 don't cut it. Just now thinking about it, the C is 1+2 and the B is 1+3, normally. Have you tried C as 1+3+4 and B as 1+2+3+4? It occurs to me that those should be correct fingerings with 4th valve, but I haven't tried them. I'll have to go try it...
