Condensation in Compensating Euphs

Has anyone else had problems with excessive condensation forming in their 4th valve on a compensating euphonium? I have a Willson 2900, and it seems like there is always a lot of spit (condensation, whatever you want to call it) on the actual stem (I guess that's what you'd call what you press down) of the 4th valve. This causes my felts to get completely soaked, causing a strange "mushy" sound sometimes when the valve is compressed. Any suggestions as to what the problem is or what I could do about it? Do you think it could perhaps have something to do with the angle/position of the valve? I can empty my spit all I want and it never seems to help that much. Thanks in advance.

Heather
