I have an old MacIntosh with "MusicWriter" by Pyware, connected to a Yamaha TG100 "tone generator", which is a synthesizer without a keyboard. It works well within its limitations. I also have a Dell Pentium PC with Finale Millenium edition, and have figured out how to use it. But it plays back only through the computer's sound card, which sounds like cr*p. I can't figure out how to make the PC communicate with the tone generator. I have the right cable, and have tried the "PC" settings on the back of the tone generator, without success. Anybody out there know the secret?
