Rotary vs Pistons in Germany(and Europe)

Can some of you comment on the preference of valve types in Europe - particularly Germany. I am considering purchasing an F tuba pretty soon and I prefer pistons. However, I want to know if I am limiting myself if I ever decided to move to Europe by not having rotary valves.
