I was able to make the switch to CC by playing lots of scales, thinking the pitches as I played.
Then I started reading the scales out of an Arban book.
Then I incorporated easy etudes.
I did this for about a week, after that the progression was fast.
By the way, I don't consider the Holst Eb Suite easy. You'll love the Intermezzo on C tuba, though.
