Big Easy listening

I'm planning a family trip to New Orleans 20-23 March. Any recommendations on "must see" spots? Note that my party will include a 16yo and a "morning person".

For a starting reference point, I'm thinking that Snug Harbor is our speed, and Cafe Brasil might be a bridge too far. How about Monday night at Donna's?
