That's one thing I like about brasses -- they seem to be the most weatherproof of practically any instrument.
Well, maybe a washboard, moonshine jug, and spoons are more durable (and probably more hail-proof), but I enjoy not having to worry about rain, heat, or cold. The worst things that seem to happen are collisions and human-borne acids.
