Those things stink. (sorry) You should at least make a good effort, IMHO, to play an instrument with the type of mouthpiece that has proven to have the most success: a plain ol' trombone or euphonium mouthpiece. If you were a trombonist trying to sharpen your trumpet skills, would you have a trumpet mouthpiece made especially for you with a trombone rim?... What if Erbie Green or one or two other well-known trombonists did it?... {:-/) Why don't saxophone players who double on clarinet just have adapters made for their sax mouthpieces to fit into their clarinets?... {:-/)

Steve Call and many other tuba players (even me!) play euphonium from time to time and use proper mouthpieces with NO problems. Try that first, please, before you handicap yourself with some expensive and out-of-proportion contraption.

Strong words...but trying to offer my best advice to you.
