Dear Friends,

Take pity on a poor sousa-seller and help me out with the name(s) of some freight companie(s) that offer "SURFACE" freight (cheapo) across oceans. Not only do I not KNOW the names of any companies offering econo "surface" freight service, but I would also need one that 1/has a drop-off of some sort in Memphis, TN and 2/ is willing to work on a "one-zie" basis (rather that a CONTAINER OF FREIGHT thing).

Here is my situation:

If I can find a way to move a sousa across the Pacific for $100 or less, it is SOLD. It is too big for the U.S. Postal Service, U.P.S. and FedEx do not offer "surface" service, (and I don't think Amtrak nor Greyhound goes there ;^)

The buyer is in no particular hurry...4 - 6 weeks (perhaps longer) would be fine with him.

Any info?

Thanks,

-Joe
