My son is participating in two weeks of band camp. The problem is that when he playes for extended periods of time, his lower face becomes chapped. He has vaseline creamy, but after only two days of camp, he says that is burning when he puts it on. He has very sensetive skin, and has difficulty using some things. I read in the archives about carmax & blistex, would these things work for the face as well as lips? Are there any other suggestions to avoid the chapping?
