Hey there! I work in the Miami area (I play with the Florida Philharmonic) and I can tell you first hand that there are no good brass repairmen (in my opinion) in the south Florida area. The closest quality repairman I know of is Roy Lawler, of Florida Brass, up in Orlando. He can fix most things while you wait and he'll schedule an appointment with you so you won't have to leave the horn and make two separate trips.
