Are you sure that only horns labeled 'York Master' were made somewhere other than in Grand Rapids?
I have a 'York Artist' Eb sousaphone serial #581502 that very much so doesn't fit any York serial number list I've seen. I'm planning on turning it into a five rotor F(or Eb if that works out better) helicon next summer if time and money permits. Any suggestions in that regard will be gladly welcomed.
