I was just wondering what do lips have to do with playing a tuba? Specifically in the physical sence of tone. For example, if two tuba players are of equal skill, but one possing thick, full red lips, the other possesing thin lips, what will be the difference in their sound? How does the physical structure of the lip affect the sound of ones playing?
