There is a show on the Cable channel Ovation called "The Phil". It is about an orchestra called the Philharmonia in London.
I caught the tail-end of this show which was produced in 1997.
At the end the orchestra is playing Dvorak's 9th. I watched the tuba player in the wide angle shot and there he was with the bottom bow of his horn between his shoes, his head resting on his hand with his elbow in the bell. This was IN a performance!
I couldn't believe it. Who was that? just curious. I know that is one boring part but jeez...just thought I would see if anyone on here has ever been caught looking bored at the end of this piece.
