The euphonium 4+1 has never been developed probably due to the nature of literature and parts written for the instrument. Seriously, how often do 99.9% of euphonium players play down there where alternate fingerings or a 5th valve are truly needed. Granted there may be a few rare exceptions. Tubas, being the foundation of an ensemble, are quite more likely to be asked to play down there to add an organ-like quality to the ensemble sound. Euphs are more likely to support the french horns(March Metamorphosis-high Bb's o'plenty) or trombones or doodle along with the clarinets(Melody Shop) or provide counter melody on a march(Colonel Bogey), all upper range stuff.
