That said, isn't .670 a typical sousaphone bore? Not that I want it to sound like a sousaphone, but they usually aren't really stuffy, so I don't know that this horn would NECESSARILY be. 'Course, I remember a recent thread saying the Yam. 621 was stuffy, so it might start out with a stuffy design, made worse w/ a smaller bore. I guess it would depend partly on the bore of the valves themselves... Anyhow, I value your observation -- it is certainly something to consider. Anyone else?
