time period. I have read accounts where musicians needed to own different instruments (tuned to different standards) if they played in more than one band. You could have all of the tuning slides lengthened (just lengthening the main slide won't do it), but it will probably be prohibitively expensive. I have heard a few folks try to play in my community band with instruments (a tuba and a baritone sax) that are tuned to different pitch standards. It doesn't work. Sorry,
