At the risk of sounding overly cynical, I'm just curious what everyone thinks
about the advantages of attending Juilliard as opposed to any of the other places
you could go (and for that matter, what is different about any conservatory as opposed to
a "regular" post-secondary education in music performance or composition).
Forgive me, but I have no understanding of how things are run there
or who teaches there or anything else that would lead me to understand why people keep
posting questions like "Who got in last year?" and others. Please enlighten me...
