I think I can hold a decent pedal Bb for about three seconds loud enough for anyone to hear it, and I have to work up to that for a week.
I think I can hold it with the air in my mouth for about 12 milliseconds. I just can't seem to take in a useful amount of air through my nose in 12 milliseconds.
