Why should Disney pay professional musicians when they are getting hundreds of high school (and now college) groups to come in there and perform for free? In fact these groups pay big bucks to go there and play. And all Disney gives them is a few free meal tickets! It is a real money maker and a real racket Disney has going.
On the other hand, it is a nice experience for the kids in the bands and choruses(I know because I take our band there), but Disney really is getting a lot of free entertainment at the expense of the professional musicians. It is something the Musicians Union really should check in to and pursue.
