Here's our advertisement for our euphonium opening in The Army Band. This will be a Ceremonial Band position.

Resume/Tape Deadline: Oct. 10, 2001

The applicants must demonstrate superior musical, technical, and sight-reading ability. Regular duties will include performance with The Army Ceremonial Band. Occasional performances with The Army Concert Band, re included. Duties include nationally televised events at The White House, U.S. Capitol, Arlington National Cemetery, and the Kennedy Center. An extensive background investigation will be conducted on the accepted applicant to ensure suitability for White House support duties.

Employment will begin in 2001.
To apply, send a resume, full length photo, and cassette tape or CD containing at least two contrasting musical styles. Please send all material by the above deadline to:

A limited number of highly qualified applicants will be invited to this audition.
Repertoire will not be given over the telephone.
