Jay's comments are always interesting and well-informed, though I'm at a loss to know why he would never want to play Tchaikovsky's Hamlet again (certainly not an overplayed piece, and typically well written for the tuba and the brasses).
My two candidates for a LONG rest:
Tchaikovsky 5th (played FAR too often, it's enough already).
Dvorak 8th (Whenever a conductor savors the audience response he'll get from this, he should substitute the 6th. Just do it you lazy vainglorious maestros).
