I suggest you practice your scales _very slowly_ and actually read them from the page, not just from memory. You need to develop a new CC "muscle memory" for each written note/pitch/fingering combination. So linger on each note of the scale, and think the name of the note while reading it and playing it. Don't just rely on known finger patterns.

Don't worry, it will come. As many of the respondents have stated, it is usually not easy for anyone to switch and it takes time and effort. Try to have fun with it and not view the change-over as such a dreaded task.
