Why not move the valve assemply on a euph down tot he bottom of the horn, with the tubing then going up instead of down. This would make it equal to the position of a piano, and then moving the leadpip uphigh enough so that you could rest the horn on your leg without back contortions. I am probably visualizing it better than i can describe it.
