This is the guy in Vegas that is selling "CCb" Tubas. I have no idea of their quality, but this guy obviously has no clue about instruments. I did buy a euphonium stand from him for $25, and it is was a good buy. He's not a crook, but I'd like to play the horn or at least have the assurance of someone with some expertise that the intonation was acceptable. Granted, you can't expect a $15K tuba for $1K, but it's a waste of money if it won't play in tune. BTW, I play a St. Pete, and I like it. I once owned a Yamaha 321 and the St Pete plays far better. It is true the finish is pretty thin, but I've seen worse finishes on better horns.
