Yamaha makes a convertible model based on its YBB-201. It might be called something like 201M? This horn is a big tuba and gets a pretty decent sound. Most of the other convertibles are based on small horns like the Yamaha YBB-105m whcih is a very tiny horn and consequently the sound is tiny too, and easy to overblow. they tend to sound like ripping sheet metal at that point. The same for the UMI/King convertible horn, wich is built on a small horn, although not as small as the little Yamaha. There are others too, but I do not know much about them. Generally speaking the convertibles are not as good as a good sousa. (My opinion anyway)
