Roseburg's a about 670 miles from Boise and about 200 from Bend. By comparison, it's only 75 miles to Eugene and 96 to Medford. The boy's parents were hoping to find something a little closer to home. He's got his heart set on studying tuba in college and I figure before his parents go out and drop a bundle on a new horn for him, a few lessons with a good teacher might be in order!
