Look, Antonio, I've noticed every time someone has a horn for sale you post a comment about wanting to know more about it, etc. It seems like you're being overly cautious about diving into a horn. What you need to do is either so somewhere like Brasswind or a tuba conf. and try a bunch of them out. Another thing is to go ahead and buy something used you're pretty sure about liking and just live with it for a while. If the tuba doesn't work out, just sell it and get something else. We are in a time when good used horns will appreciate in value (some makes more than others, but if you've paid as much attention to this board as I think you have, you should know what they are). And then later if some new horn comes along that you have to have, go for it. But realize that the resale will take longer to even out with what you paid for it.
