I worked a Catholic service, yesterday, and the Priest's message dealt with the present unfortunate situation with which the Church and Clergy are faced. It was a very candid discussion of the issues and he went on to say that this was a situation the Church had to own up to and that it and its membership should not try to pawn off responsibility on the media, etc. He also went on to point out, however, that "there are many in the Clergy who are not involved in such actions, who are proud of their celebacy, and it is now time for those members to stand behind each other!"
