i dont think this statement is 100% correct. First of all if he is just getting back into he is not going to have all that great of sound. ( no offence, no one would just going back into it. ) I would take some peoples advise and then go out and try those. I am sure most of them no what they are talking about and trust their oppinion. He will not no which tuba gets what sound becuase he will not have a fully developed tone.
