Hmmmm. This is getting complicated! Which of the SM mouthpieces would make more sense for someone used to a 6-1/2AL? The only other mouthpieces I've used are a 7C (on alto bone, and occasionally tried it on small-bore tenor) and a Denis Wick 5AL (used to use this when playing bass-trombone orchestral parts). I'd obviously like to have something with the same size rim if possible -- but that's no an absolute requirement.
