I have taken on the challenge of playing the Vaughan Williams tuba concerto for a competition in a few months. I am playing on a 4/4 Kalison Daryl Smith CC, and upon my first couple of times playing it, I realized that I am probably not going to last very long in my practicing with a Perantucci 88 mouthpiece. If anybody can recommend a good mouthpiece for stuff like that, please let me know.
