Is Royce Lumpkin still there? I did work-study with Little and Lumpkin, as a tuba major, and learned more from just being in the room doing office chores while Lumpkin was giving lessons than I've ever learned from ANYONE teaching me directly (note: this is not meant to detract from Don Little, who is also an excellent person and teacher). Could be because the things he worked with (using air) were my biggest problems, could be he and I were just on the same 'wave-length', but he was a great guy and a fine teacher. Of course, that was 20+ years ago, so I don't know if he's still there.
